Our Business

Is really just a hobby since we both work full-time.  You all know that farms don't make money, they eat it.  But we love it out here and especially love visitors (even if they don't write out a check and take a horse home with them).

We started buying and selling little horses in 2003 with the purchase of Buttercup as a pet for our daughter, Catherine.  So began our addiction...more buying, more buying, a little selling...you know how it goes!

Who We Are

Lou is the horse person in our household; all this started because of her!  She is a registered Occupational Therapist with Greenwood School District 50 and has some free time during the summer to "do the mini horse thing".

Byron is the handyman (with help from Dad) and does some ferrier work on the farm as well as shots when they need them.  He is a high school band director in the same district and is counting down the days to retirement!  

They are both musicians and are active at Greenwood First Baptist Church as well as Greenwood Community Theatre.

David is a junior at Winthrop University and Catherine is a senior at Emerald HIgh School.  David is a sculpture major and Cat is a three sport letterer at EHS (Soccer, Tennis, and Athletic Trainer).
